Hang in there people - half term is almost over!
I'm sure that everyone has very much enjoyed some family time this week but it can be hard to find groups to go to. My little one isn't even school age but a lot of the groups that we go to run term time only, so it is best to check before you head out to a regular group and find that there is no one in.
If you are getting to the end of the week and looking for something to end it in style then why not try The Park's Trust - Circus Time tomorrow from 10.30-1pm at Ouse Valley Park. Click here for more details.
Also running in half term is the regular group - NCT Milton Keynes' Bumps, Babes and Beyond at Foundation House in Wolverton. The group meets every Friday with a baby area, plenty of room and toys for the toddlers and tea and coffee for the Mums. There is a suggested £1 donation.
And finally if you are looking to get out of the house really early then why not have breakfast at the WI Country Market at the Old Bath House in Wolverton on Friday. They are open from 8am and serve teas and coffees, bacon sandwiches, toast and cereal. The market sells a range of homemade goods and crafts including cakes, savouries and eggs, so it's a great local place to shop too.
For the weekend there is so much going on!
Saturday sees the first monthly MK Handmade and Vintage Fair at Swifen Harris Hall (Greek Church Hall) in Stony Stratford. This looks like a great event with a great range of stalls, I'm on the look out for some gifts and I think this could be the place to go for something unique and beautiful.
This is just one of the events that makes up Stony Live! which kicks off tomorrow. There are events from June 4th - 12th from live music to the classic car festival as well as an open day at the allotments. Plenty to keep everyone entertained.
